I'm Different and that's Great!!!

           How many of us have taken a look in the mirror and fretted about what might be considered things that really might not matter as much as we think.

           We seem to have anxiety about a lot of things that are personal to us...the small details that make us...simply us: the spots on your face, the lines around your eyes or the dry skin on your arms…or maybe we're a little over-weight, too skinny in the legs or top heavy. Some of us might think our hair is too short and just doesn't grow fast enough…then, it's either too thick or too thin.

           And what about those who complain about being too short?… how about too tall?…are our nails long enough…perhaps not. This one thinks she has to get a tan, but that one feels it's important to buy another jar of fade cream. Sounds silly doesn't it. …

           The real question is when will we realize that our beauty is vast and diverse. We just need to appreciate it. That IS the beauty of us, the fact that we are all so different. As women, our loveliness lies in our differences. Maybe it's time to celebrate our beauty and stop complaining.

Big and Bigger are Equally as Lovely.

           Why is it that I do not have more pics of real plus size women modeling plus size merchandise???  Those of us who are plus size know exactly what I mean,.I guess the powers that be, the manufacturers of plus size garments, are still stuck in that old time tradition of thinking that THIN sells. Too bad because if they don't wise up, I suspect they may lose sales in favor of those who have accepted the newer way of thinking.  

           RoundAbout Beauty sells lingerie for voluptuous women and my supplier although they do use plus size models, they really don't represent my cliental. My robust ladies are just as beautiful and salable as the smaller beauties. Wise up… we at RoundAboutBeauty say…big and bigger are equally as lovely. Agreed?

           Today I was thinking ............it is woman that brings calm to the world of man. Not to criticize our male counterpart, but let's face it ladies, if we left them to them selves, I suspect we would find them buried in what they call their man-cave, devoid of curtains, burried in beer cans, playing war games.. devoid of all the niceties we women bring into their lives. I bet that in the dark recesses of their minds they secretly …no matter how hard they protest  about the way we are… value the life we give them and know that their lives would take on a morbidly different manifestation without us.

We bare their children, they get fed, nurtured and we keep them insane with what they consider senseless chatter. On top of that , for the most part, we are soft, sexy and lovable. They know it and after all is said and done...they're willing to put up with even the worst of us. Brovo for them! As for us...we  can love 'em or leave 'em.
